Upcoming Events

Hello Scout Families.

We had our first Den meetings and things are starting to come together.  For those that couldn't make it, here's a recap.

Webelo II - Practiced reciting the Scout Oath, Scout Law and Outdoor code. Also practiced for Opening Ceremony and assisting with Roundup and 1st Pack Meeting. Will continue same at next Den Meeting

Webelo I - Worked on earning their Whittling Chip Card. Scouts are to learn the Pocketknife Pledge and other safety tips as outlined in Bear Achievement 19d "Shavings & Chips". Parents to bring Pocketknife and a bar of soap to next Den Meeting. Scouts must know Pledge before using Pocketknives. Only the Parent may carry the knife on School grounds. Scouts will be
handed knifes during the Den Meeting.

Bears - Their meeting was in a different room. As I made the rounds, I saw them working on some different things, so if you missed it let us know.

Wolves - Reviewed Achievements. It was decided that Achievement #10 "Family Fun Day" has probably been done by most Scout Families. Please do this one independently if achievements have not been met. Bring Books for sign off on achievement #10 to next Den Meeting. Field trips were reviewed for covering a couple achievements and should be finalized by Parents meeting at Skate Night.

Sept 11 - Parents Meeting at Skate World

Sept 18 - Round-up  All Dens meet in cafeteria then break into Dens

Sept 22 & 23 - Popcorn Show & Sell. To be finalized at Skate Night

Sept 25 - First Pack Meeting
